Managing the Threat from CD-ROMs
CD-ROMs have been the dominant media for commercial software distribution for several years now and the advent of low-cost CD writers has made the format popular for file exchange, backup and archiving. This popularity has significantly increased the security headaches for IT managers for three important reasons:
