Every company has some form of sensitive data that should be protected from being wiped out, damaged, lost or stolen due to accidental or intentional staff activities. The 2006 survey on Information Security Breaches, backed by the DTI, showed that 62% of UK companies had a security incident in the last year. The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Kent was the most recent ill-fated organisation to experience a major disaster of having the hospital’s computer system down for two days. This happened as a result of staff downloading songs for their iPods, videos, and games to the hospital's network.
