Scanner Configuration

McAfee VirusScan NT v4.02 for Windows NT
The following options must be configured within the McAfee 4.02 GUI to run correctly with Reflex Disknet NT v1.80. The Executable used to run the scanner is SCAN32.EXE.
 1) By right clicking on the 'V Shield' icon in the system tray, select 'Properties'.
2) By default the 'Detection' tab is selected.
3) Under 'Scan' de-select 'Floppy during shutdown' and 'Network drives'.
4) Under 'What to Scan', 'All files' and 'Compressed files' should be selected.
5) Under the 'General' tab, configure as you see fit.
6) In the 'Actions' tab, under 'When a virus is found', select 'Deny access to infected files and continue'.
