Reflex Disknet Pro has successfully been awarded Government CCT Mark Certification

Reflex Magnetics, a leading provider of IT security solutions for organisations worldwide, has today announced that its flagship Disknet Pro software version 4.50.1 has met stringent Government security standards. The testing process, put in place by the Cabinet Office’s Central Sponsor for Information Assurance (CSIA), is the UK’s first ever quality award scheme for off-the-shelf IT security products, and has concluded that Reflex Disknet Pro version 4.50.1 has fulfilled all the criteria needed to obtain CCT Mark Certification.

The Cabinet Office’s CSIA Claims Tested Mark (CCT) programme has been set up to ensure that off-the-shelf IT security products meet certain quality standards. By certifying security vendor products the government sponsored CCT Mark aims to specifically benefit small and medium sized businesses seeking to select appropriate IT security.
The CCT Mark scheme, announced in September this year, by Jim Murphy, Home Office Minister with responsibility for e-government, and is expected to inject businesses with increased confidence in the information security industry.
The Government recognised the need for a strategic and co-ordinated approach to protecting the nation's information systems. The CSIA in the Cabinet Office plays a key role in pulling together all the various projects going on across government and looking at any gaps or overlaps that need to be addressed. It works with partners across government and the private sector, as well as its international counterparts, to help maintain a reliable, secure and resilient national information infrastructure.
