Bletchley Park was the setting for Reflex's most recent seminar on IT Compliance. Home of the World War II code breakers, Alan Turing and Dilly Knox, this venue added a historical note to the proceedings. Among the ciphers that were broken between 1939 and 45 were Enigma and Lorenz.
The seminar was well attended with delegates from both central and local government department departments. Presentations were given by Harvey Mattinson - Head of Accreditation CSIA/Cabinet Office, John Lovelock - Director General of FAST, and Keith Blackmore - from the BSI. Reflex also gave a presentation on how Disknet Pro could be used to help support and enforce policy with regard to compliance issues.
After lunch the day was rounded off with a tour of Bletchley Park which the majority of delegates took the advantage of. Andy Campbell managing director of Reflex commented "This is the third time we have used Bletchley Park as a venue, we always enjoy successful seminars here today's is no exception".
